About Us

Helpless Hope Society (HHS) is a non-profit service-oriented voluntary organization established for the upliftment and development of the destitute sections of the society. Helpless Hope Society is dedicated to the welfare and development of physically challenged, blind, orphans, begging children, poor, laborers and old people who have no one to support them. Apart from this, it is involved in providing skills, education, healthcare and nutrition facilities to the community. Helpless Hope Society is a group of people from different backgrounds, irrespective of their age, caste, class, social status and gender. This group comes from different areas and has different skills, talents and knowledge. How can we make the best use of these creative talents; we try to reach out to the deprived people through various means. We are convinced of our Indian constitutional values and committed to constitutional processes. And it has expanded its program activities. For the last 6 years, Helpless Hope Society has been working on critical issues like helping the destitute, physically challenged, poverty, livelihoods, community development, education, water and sanitation, health, agriculture and rural development, environment and livelihood promotion. The organization emphasizes on community-based interventions and works closely with communities and government departments to provide people access to their rights and entitlements.

Helpless Hope Society’s primary focus is currently working on poverty alleviation, helping physically challenged people, connecting begging children to education, women empowerment, child abuse, drinking water, and sanitation in backward districts of Gorakhpur, Santkabir Nagar, Basti, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Kushinagar, Balrampur, Shravasti and Bahraich in the Nepal border area of Uttar Pradesh, where it has established itself as a leading entity in rescue, repatriation and rehabilitation efforts. Additionally, the organization is involved in livelihood promotion, micro-finance initiatives, community-based healthcare, education programs and environmental sensitization as part of its comprehensive approach to community development.

Vision

Helpless Hope Society, helps the needy people of the society for their welfare, strives for a self-reliant, equitable, just, exploitation free and empowered society, increases awareness, skills, development process and provides necessary resources to bring meaningful and lasting change in human life in social, environmental, financial and cultural areas. Provides resources for living a life with social justice to the exploited and deprived people so that the country remains free from social discontent.

Mission

To act as a catalyst in bringing about lasting change in the lives of underprivileged people and begging children and families with a life cycle approach to development, creating an equitable relationship of finance, power, livelihood, education and dignity in society. Enable civil society across the world to actively engage in the change process through the philosophy of citizen driven change. Empower the underprivileged, helpless and exploited people of the society, especially the physically challenged, women, aged and children and socially and economically weaker sections of the society, promote social equality while working for their holistic and sustainable development.
